Wildlife
The main wildlife at Kaka Point and the surrounding Catlins area
is dolphins, seals, sea lions, penguins and a vast array of native
birds like Tui, Bush Pigeon, Bellbird, Pukeko and many other
smaller birds. The native owl (morepork) can often be heard at
night.
